| Resumo: | O trabalho proposto analisa os impactos sociais resultantes da implantação do frigorífico de abate de suínos da Frimesa no município de Assis Chateaubriand-PR. Com um investimento de 2,5 bilhões de reais (R$), o empreendimento pretende abater 15 mil suínos por dia e empregar direta e indiretamente 8.500 trabalhadores. A legislação do Estado do Paraná relativa a empreendimento deste tipo exigiu apenas a apresentação de um Relatório Ambiental Preliminar, (RAP). Esse tipo de estudo não aborda de forma específica os impactos sociais. Este estudo foca nos impactos sociais deste empreendimento principalmente em questões relativas a: crescimento populacional municipal; estoque habitacional; oferta de serviços de saúde; serviços de creche; serviços de educação e crescimento da frota veicular no município. |
| Abstract: | The proposed study analyzes the social impacts resulting from the establishment of the Frimesa pig slaughterhouse in the municipality of Assis Chateaubriand, Paraná, Brazil. With an investment of 2.5 billion BRL, the project aims to slaughter 15,000 pigs per day and employ, directly and indirectly, 8,500 workers. The legislation of the State of Paraná concerning enterprises of this nature required only the submission of a Preliminary Environmental Report (RAP). This type of study does not specifically address social impacts. This research focuses on the social impacts of the enterprise, particularly regarding: municipal population growth; housing stock; availability of health services; daycare services; educational services; and the increase in the number of vehicles in the municipality. |
