Tecnologia educacional e a pandemia covid-19: construção e validação de uma plataforma de ensino

Abstract

The world scenario has been impacted since December 2019, with the discovery of a new Coronavirus, which caused the disease COVID-19. Ever since, the World Health Organization declared emergency in public health of international importance, and soon after, decreed pandemic. Because this is a recent issue, a lot of information about this virus has been and is being studied, and new discoveries happen at all times. Thus, this work aims to build and validate a digital educational material in order to assist undergraduate health teachers in the teaching process about the new coronavirus and COVID-19. For this, the research was carried out in three stages: first, the construction of a digital educational material containing scientific evidence, through texts, videos, podcasts, among other resources, on the proposed theme. The second stage consists of validating this teaching material through a panel of judges, using the CVI (Content Validity Index) method that employs a Likert scale with a score of one to four. And finally, identify the level of satisfaction of expert judges when making use of the material. The digital educational material was constructed using the tool for distance learning, Google Classroom®, containing information/evidence on the theme "Pandemic COVID-19", distributed in eight modules and structured in various formats, all of which are informative, which was evaluated and validated by twelve expert judges. The items evaluated were: objective, structure, appearance and relevance. For the validation analysis, the CVI was used, with a recommendation of a cutoff point greater than 0.78. None of the items evaluated presented a value below the minimum agreement adopted. The overall average of CVI was 0.88, confirming the validation of educational material with the judges. The evaluators also made suggestions, pointing out sixteen in the whole. The digital educational material was validated and can be considered valid and reliable with a clear and objective language, which can be used by different teachers in the health area to assist in the preparation of classes.
