Os agentes ambientais e o processo de sustentabilidade: um estudo de caso da ASSAMA de Medianeira – PR

Abstract

The main objective of this work was to analyze the participation of Environmental Agents belonging to ASSAMA – Association of Environmental Agents of Medianeira – in the process of sustainability of the municipality of Medianeira, extreme west of Paraná. As secondary objectives, the profile of the environmental agents was listed, later the process of collecting the recyclable garbage was presented, as well as the measurement of the collected recyclable material, its destination and purpose. The objectives were surveyed through bibliographic research on the subject. For the analysis of the research was used unstructured interview and observation made with the associates of ASSAMA, and ethnographic research pointing out the way in which the collection of the recyclable material by the environmental agents belonging to ASSAMA is carried out. The results show that the profile of the agents are both male and female of the most varied age and education age groups and that they collect recyclable materials such as: plastics, pet, and cardboard in an amount of 24,833. In this context, the work was justified by the importance and relevance of the topic, presenting the active participation of environmental agents of ASSAMA in the collection of recyclable material.
