Autor: Iagla, Mariana Dutra

Abstract: Abortion is the act of ending the life of a fetus, which, under the best circumstances, could become an adult human life. It also involves the interruption of the lives of thousands of women annually in Brazil. This makes it an ethical dilemma. Unfortunately, years of Christian dominance over women's bodies have transformed the issue into a more religious than ethical discussion. The problem addressed in our research is precisely the centralization of the fetus in discussions about the value of life and the devaluation attributed to women. The hypothesis is that this occurs because religion has appropriated ethics and judges issues as if God were morality itself. Our morality in the West is constructed from a Christian perspective, which, therefore, ceases to be merely a religion and becomes cultural. From a Christian point of view, the fetus has a higher value attributed to it than the woman; therefore, women are left aside in the discussion, while they die as a result of clandestine abortions. The objective is to defend the morality of abortion, presenting it primarily as an ethical problem and defending an objective and autonomous ethic, centralizing the value of women's lives in the discussion. Therefore, it is necessary to reformulate the concepts present in the debate. We will begin by presenting three of the main anti-abortion arguments, which will comprise sections 1, 2, and 3 of the first chapter. The remainder of the work will integrate the counter-arguments to these arguments, with each section following the same order as the sections in the first chapter. The second chapter will be its classical philosophical counter-argument, and the third, the counter-argument with the concepts reformulated from a feminist philosophical perspective.

Abstract: Building on a critique of the hylomorphic-substantialist model present in Gilbert Simondon’s thought, this research explores the foundations for an educational ethics of resonance. The central objective is to articulate the concepts of individuation, perception, and technique to show how Simondon’s notion of ontogenesis allows us to rethink human formation no longer from the perspective of an isolated individual, or the subject as a pre-constituted entity, but as a relational process of its becoming. Methodologically, the research adopts analogical reasoning as a transductive operation, a procedure that allows for establishing operative correspondences between the different regimes of individuation (physical, vital, psychic, collective, and technical), culminating in the ethical sphere of the transindividual. As a result, the aim is to reinvent the learning process, shifting the focus from the passive transmission of content to the inventive creation of pedagogical assemblages. Such assemblages aim to amplify perceptual capacity and foster a resonant attunement with the tensions of the pre-individual field, cultivating creative and ethically oriented responses, especially in the face of challenges posed by contemporary technical systems, such as algorithms. It can be concluded that this approach offers a theoretical framework for pedagogical individuation, which aims to transcend the limits of an institutional form of education by drawing on the potential of that institution itself, and whose most significant consequence is to situate ethics within the very process of the constitution of the self, in its inseparable relationship with the technical and the psychosocial.

<title>Uma cartografia do corpo: lições do professor Deleuze</title>

<description>Title: Uma cartografia do corpo: lições do professor Deleuze
Autor: Martins, Gustavo Henrique

Abstract: This thesis investigates the moral foundations of the exercise of governmental authority. The research problem asks which ultimate principles of political morality should guide governmental action so as to satisfy the requirements of legitimacy and justice articulated by Ronald Dworkin. The general objective is to identify principles of political morality capable of functioning as truth conditions for the public actions of governments — and, to some extent, of legislatures — taking as its framework the theory of law as integrity. More specifically, it seeks to: (i) highlight the role of morality, alongside law, as an ordering instance of political action; (ii) reconstruct the foundations of Dworkin’s thought concerning the presence of moral judgments in everyday life, in politics, and in law; and (iii) ultimately extract from this conception principles of political morality that may serve as a basis for understanding and evaluating the public actions of administrative governments. The research is justified, on the theoretical level, by the relative scarcity of studies that examine the philosophical foundations of public action from the standpoint of an integrated theory of law, politics, and knowledge; and, on the practical level, by its potential to provide analytical tools for assessing modes of governance. The conclusion is that public action should be grounded both in substantive values linked to equality and liberty — which, under a liberal egalitarian interpretation, may be expressed through the principles of fair social cooperation and existential authorship — and in attitudinal requirements that guide governmental deliberation and decision-making, which may be expressed through the principles of moral objectivity and political responsibility. The research is bibliographic and documentary in nature; its objective is exploratory, and its methodological approach is hypothetico-deductive.
