Abstract: Magdalena Carmen Frida Kahlo y Calderón was one of the most expressive painters &#xD;
of her time, incorporating strong and conceptual elements into her works, filled with &#xD;
symbolism. However, her productions reflect much more than the artist’s thoughts; &#xD;
interwoven with her life journey, her pictorial and written works are able to tell the story &#xD;
of her painful and challenging life, of the time she lived through, including the Mexican &#xD;
Revolution and her social circle, sharing with the reader insights into her family, &#xD;
relationships, and friends. Born, raised, and deceased in Mexico, Frida immortalized &#xD;
in her artworks the darkest and most profound moments of her existence. Since &#xD;
childhood—marked by jealousy, passions, and illnesses—she transformed her own &#xD;
body into an artistic language, using the paintbrush as an extension of her subjectivity. &#xD;
Through her artistic production, it is possible to follow the emotions that overflow from &#xD;
her lived experiences and materialize into intense images, laden with pain, desire, and &#xD;
identity affirmation. This research, based on the biography written by Hayden Herrera, &#xD;
The Diary of Frida Kahlo (with introduction and adaptation by Carlos Fuentes and &#xD;
Sarah M. Lowe), the autobiography Frida Kahlo by Rauda Jamís, as well as critical &#xD;
studies on her work and trajectory, seeks to understand how the artist translated her &#xD;
life into art. The aim is to identify, in the writings and images that compose her creative &#xD;
universe, the episodes that inspired her paintings, revealing how Frida, by painting her &#xD;
pain and anguish, established herself as one of the greatest figures in 20th-century art.

Abstract: This dissertation analyzes the discursive functioning of meanings produced about Luiz &#xD;
Inácio Lula da Silva in the O Globo newspaper during its coverage of the second round &#xD;
of the 2022 Brazilian presidential elections, between October 3 and 29. Grounded in &#xD;
French Discourse Analysis, particularly in the works of Pêcheux, Orlandi, and Mariani, &#xD;
the study investigates how journalistic discourse contributes to the constitution of &#xD;
subject-positions and to the production of truth effects regarding the political actors in &#xD;
dispute. The corpus comprises seven editions of the newspaper, from which front-page &#xD;
headlines and their complementary elements—subheadings, excerpts from the first &#xD;
page, and passages from internal articles—were selected as signifying materialities that &#xD;
orient interpretive gestures and sustain the stabilization of meanings about Lula and, by &#xD;
extension, his opponent, Bolsonaro. The analysis considers the functioning of discursive &#xD;
memory, imaginary formations, and strategies of silencing and selection that regulate &#xD;
the organization and circulation of certain utterances. The aim is to understand how the &#xD;
newspaper updates historically constituted meanings and contributes to the signification &#xD;
of political subjects. Furthermore, the dissertation discusses the ideological functioning &#xD;
of journalistic discourse as an enunciative practice that presents itself as neutral, &#xD;
objective, and informative, yet actively participates in the political dispute.

Abstract: La presente investigación tiene el objetivo de analizar la escritura autobiográfica como &#xD;
género textual e identificar cómo los elementos de la autobiografía La razón de mi vida &#xD;
(1951) expresan la imagen de Eva Perón, o Evita, a partir de su obra social, &#xD;
identificando la influencia y la construcción de su imagen sobre la percepción popular, &#xD;
la admiración de los descamisados y su personificación a través de la escritura, que &#xD;
retrata y evidencia sus vivencias, contraponiendo esta autoimagen con las &#xD;
representaciones presentes en las obras: Biografía de Eva Perón, escrita por Alicia &#xD;
Dujovne Ortiz (1995) y Santa Evita, de Tomás Eloy Martínez (1995) – utilizadas como &#xD;
aporte para la comprensión del género autobiografía y del feminismo. También &#xD;
realizamos apuntes sobre la dimensión histórica en la construcción de la figura social &#xD;
femenina y en la influencia de su postura como primera dama a través de la ascensión &#xD;
política del partido Peronista. Consideramos las acciones sociales, históricas y los &#xD;
logros para el pueblo argentino, que contribuyeron en el vislumbre de la figura de Eva &#xD;
Perón. Por lo tanto, para el corpus de esta investigación, se utilizará la autobiografía de &#xD;
Eva Perón, La Razón de Mi Vida, con aportes que sirvieron para la comprensión en las &#xD;
obras: Biografía de Eva Perón, escrita por Alicia Dujovne Ortiz (1995) y Santa Evita, de &#xD;
Tomás Eloy Martínez (1995). Como marco teórico, elegimos las consideraciones y &#xD;
fundamentaciones de los autores: Arfuch (2018), Le Goff (1990), Lejeune (2014) y &#xD;
Halbwachs (1990).

Abstract: Higher education in the 21st century faces significant challenges in the face of social, &#xD;
technological and epistemological transformations, requiring a re-signification of the role of &#xD;
the university lecturer. This dissertation investigates the fundamental knowledge for &#xD;
pedagogical practice in contemporary higher education, considering the intersection &#xD;
between academic knowledge, university didactics, pedagogical innovation and &#xD;
educational inclusion. In this sense, the research adopts a qualitative approach, anchored &#xD;
in a literature review and interviews with lecturers from different areas of knowledge, &#xD;
seeking to understand how university lecturers construct and apply their pedagogical &#xD;
knowledge in everyday classroom life. The results indicate that, in addition to mastering &#xD;
specific content, higher education teachers need to develop didactic competences, socio emotional skills, inclusive practices and mastery of new educational technologies. &#xD;
Therefore, continuing education and professional development emerge as determining &#xD;
factors for the effectiveness of university teaching, highlighting the need for institutional &#xD;
policies aimed at teacher training. The research contributes to the debate on teaching in &#xD;
higher education, pointing the way towards a pedagogical practice that integrates &#xD;
knowledge, innovation and commitment to meaningful student learning.
