Abstract: This study analyzes the performance indicators adopted by innovation promotion environments
accredited under the State System of Innovation Promotion Environments of Paraná
(SEPARTEC+). The research employed an applied methodology with a mixed-methods
approach (quantitative and qualitative) and an exploratory-descriptive design. Data were
collected through a structured questionnaire containing closed-ended questions, open-ended
questions, and Likert scale items, administered between November 2024 and May 2025 to
managers of incubators, pre-incubators, innovation hubs, and accelerators accredited by
SEPARTEC+. A total of 53 valid responses were obtained.
Findings reveal a diverse range of performance indicators currently used and desired by these
environments, with emphasis on regional impact generation, ecosystem articulation,
advancement of the technological maturity of incubated solutions, and governance quality. The
study also identified gaps between the indicators currently monitored and those perceived as
relevant by managers, indicating the need for methodological and institutional support to
strengthen the culture of performance evaluation. These results offer valuable insights for
public and private managers engaged in designing policies and practices aimed at enhancing
innovation promotion environments.

Abstract: This study aimed to analyze which individual (cognitive-affective processes), organizational,
and contextual factors are associated with the quality of police decision-making under stress
in environments characterized by volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity (VUCA).
Police work in these high-pressure scenarios demands rapid, accurate, and institutionally
legitimized decisions, making stress a central factor in officers’ field performance. The
theoretical framework of the proposed model was developed based on a Systematic Literature
Review (SLR), conducted according to the PRISMA protocol using the Web of Science
database, resulting in the selection and analysis of 57 scientific studies that grounded the
proposed integrative model. The findings were organized into three main categories: Category
1: Individual Processes; Category 2: Training, Technologies, and Strategies; and Category 3:
Organizational and Contextual Factors. The study is grounded in the assumptions of
Cognitive Appraisal Theory (Folkman & Lazarus, 1980) and the Microfoundations of
Strategy (Felin et al., 2012), enabling the empirical testing of relationships among the
investigated variables. The research adopts a quantitative approach, using a structured online
questionnaire administered to police officers who have experienced critical incidents. A
Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) was conducted to assess the adequacy of the instrument
and to adjust the scales to the needs of the research context. To test the proposed hypotheses,
a multiple linear regression model was estimated. The results are expected to contribute to the
validation of a robust theoretical model, providing practical inputs for the development of
institutional policies, training programs, and stress-management strategies applicable to the
public security context.

Autor: ZIMMERMANN, Joelber Alonso

Abstract: This study investigates how enterprise risk management (ERM) strategies impact the pillars of
corporate governance in a Brazilian agro-industrial cooperative. The work employs qualitative
research, utilizing a case study of Frimesa Cooperativa Central, with a time frame from 2020
to 2024. The core methodology is interventional research, complemented by documentary
research and content analysis, and validated by the triangulation technique. Data was collected
from Frimesa's internal documents (statutes, sustainability reports, manuals, and standards) and
theoretical references such as IBGC, COSO ERM, ISO 31000, and the IIA's Three Lines Model.
The intervention and analysis revealed that Frimesa's risk management strategies significantly
impacted the pillars of corporate governance: integrity, transparency, fairness, accountability,
and sustainability. There was a strengthening of the ethical culture, improvement in risk
communication via integrated systems like SoftExpert®, formal inclusion of fairness criteria in
risk assessments, and standardization of risk reports for senior management. The integration of
ESG factors into the cooperative's risk strategies, evidenced by the ESG Roadmap 2040,
demonstrated a commitment to long-term sustainability. The study concludes that effective risk
management acts as a driver for continuous governance improvement, generating sustainable
value for all stakeholders.

Abstract: Universities have faced significant changes over the years. Initially, they focused solely on
teaching, but later, they incorporated research as an essential aspect. However, the increased
value of entrepreneurship, globalization, and the need for solutions to social and economic
demands forced higher education institutions to adapt their mission to societal transformations,
incorporating entrepreneurship through innovation ecosystems. In this context, Entrepreneurial
Universities emerged, characterized by partnerships between universities, government,
industry, and later, society, and the environment, according to the Triple, Quadruple, and
Quintuple Helix models. As these models expanded, rankings emerged that evaluate these
universities considering various dimensions. Given the above, this study aimed to analyze the
practices of Entrepreneurial Universities that collaborate toward Sustainable Development in
Public Higher Education Institutions in the Western Region of Paraná. To address the research
problem and meet the related objectives, the methodology adopted was qualitative and
descriptive, adopting a multiple case study approach. This approach allowed us to explore how
these universities align their practices with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The
results revealed that the entrepreneurial universities analyzed play fundamental roles in
strengthening regional and sustainable development. Through initiatives such as incubators,
technology parks, junior companies, and outreach projects, these institutions have promoted
innovation, social inclusion, and environmental preservation. Furthermore, some structural and
cultural challenges were identified, addressed with strategies that integrate academia, the
market, and society. It is noteworthy that the practices analyzed reflect alignment with the
evolutionary Quintuple Helix model, which incorporates sustainability as a driving force for
regional progress. Therefore, the study also suggests improvements through guidelines
reinforcing the positive impact of these institutions on achieving the SDGs.
