Abstract: O câncer de mama é uma das principais causas de mortalidade feminina em todo &#xD;
o mundo. A dinâmica do sistema imunológico, refletida nas taxas hematológicas &#xD;
derivadas de leucócitos, tem sido cada vez mais reconhecida por seu valor &#xD;
prognóstico em pacientes com câncer. Este estudo teve como objetivo avaliar a &#xD;
significância clínica das razões hematológicas baseadas em leucócitos em &#xD;
pacientes com câncer de mama submetidas à poliquimioterapia citotóxica, com foco &#xD;
em sua associação com prognóstico, quimiorresistência, recorrência, metástase e &#xD;
morte. Um estudo observacional misto foi conduzido com 185 pacientes com câncer &#xD;
de mama submetidas à quimioterapia AC-T. As razões hematológicas, incluindo as &#xD;
razões neutrófilos para linfócitos (NLR), monócitos para linfócitos (MLR) e &#xD;
plaquetas para linfócitos (PLR), foram calculadas em vários pontos de tratamento &#xD;
(D0–D168) e relacionadas com os resultados clínicos. As análises estatísticas &#xD;
incluíram ANOVA, curva ROC e teste qui-quadrado para determinar a precisão &#xD;
prognóstica desses marcadores. Alterações significativas nas razões&#xD;
hematológicas foram observadas durante a quimioterapia. Um aumento na MLR &#xD;
correlacionou-se com risco intermediário de morte e metástase, enquanto PLR &#xD;
elevado e razão plaquetas-neutrófilos (PNR) foram fortemente associados com &#xD;
metástase, recorrência e mortalidade. Diminuições na razão linfócitos-plaquetas &#xD;
(LPR) foram ligadas à quimiorresistência e resultados adversos. Razões &#xD;
hematológicas baseadas em leucócitos oferecem insights valiosos sobre dinâmica &#xD;
imunológica e prognóstico em pacientes com câncer de mama submetidos à &#xD;
quimioterapia. Sua integração em avaliações clínicas de rotina pode melhorar a &#xD;
estratificação de risco e abordagens de tratamento personalizadas.

    <summary type="text">Title: Responsabilidade social na Universidade Federal da Fronteira Sul – uma análise histórica

Abstract: The University Social Responsibility (USR) has been increasing over the past few years, and it is directly related to the discussion about redefining roles and the scope of activities of Higher Education Institutions (HEI), with regard to the ethical and transparent management of administrative, educational, cognitive and social processes. Despite the awareness about the USR practice, there is still a scenario of low disclosure, lack of support, incentive and recognition of the actions, in addition to the few empirical studies which analyze the internal and external perception of the public, mainly in public HEI. The general objective of the present study was “To diagnose the management of University Social Responsibility (USR) at Federal University of Fronteira Sul (UFFS)”. Initially, a historical description of Social Responsibility (SR) has been made, followed by an analysis of the trajectory of the university and its constituent tripod, the detailing of the USR approach, with bibliometric study and integrative review of international literature, and lastly, the presentation of a theoretical model of USR adapted to the research, according to what Vallaeys, Cruz and Sasia (2009) proposed. The research methodology was characterized by the historical dimension of the USR phenomenon, using qualitative and quantitative approaches, application of interviews, questionnaires, focus group and analysis of institutional documents. The research involved 218 participants (eight managers, six representatives of the regional community, 113 students, 65 professors, and six administrative technicians in education) with whom the following axes of the USR theoretical model were evaluated: Responsible campus, Professional qualification and citizen training, Social knowledge management and Social participation. Through the analysis of documents and the institutional history it was found that the conception which bases the practice of the USR at UFFS is directly related to the characteristics of the context in which it is situated. A constructive direction was also observed in the teaching actions, research and extension with the axes of the USR, but improvement is necessary to materialize more dimensions of the thematic, especially those related to the axis Responsible campus. In general, the perceptions of the internal and external public were consistent with the four researched axes, and it is recognized that the community is aware of the meaning of a social responsible university, but it also indicates opportunities for improvement and future challenges from which prepositions of actions are presented. Therefore, it is estimated that the UFFS is aware of the importance and tends to promote the USR, for its scenario is directly related to its constitution and principles, but the actions still do not reflect an integral and transversal Social Responsibility management model. Lastly, the institutionalization of a Social Responsibility Committee and the structuration of an RSU policy are proposed, what would allow the permanent monitoring of this important topic for the HEI, in order to legitimize the practices which build the true social mission of higher education.

    <summary type="text">Title: Impactos da modernização agrícola para os agricultores familiares da mesorregião sudoeste do Paraná

Abstract: Family Farming is an important social and economic segment in Brazil.  Nevertheless, though the Agricultural Revolution of the 1960s turned the country into a world-respected agricultural juggernaut, it has also deepened the stat e of social exclusion of the poorest family farming producers, not to mention the associated environmental damage.  Taking into account  the agricultural modernization brought about by such a revolution, this study aimed at investigating in which manner Family Farming producers from the Southwest mesoregion of the Parana State , assisted by National Rural Housing Program( PNHR), were able to resist and thus remain in their properties.  This study was a field research, of descriptive feature and approached using a qualitative manner. We interviewed 88 families distributed among the municipalities of the aforementioned region. The results obtained showed that small producers have not had sufficient conditions to escape poverty, properties possess few technological instrument, low productivity and presented, for the most part, no productive diversification. In spite of this reality, the farmers survived on the field, overcoming difficult situations, using knowledge and experiences acquired throughout their lives, are resilient and show strong bonds with the rural environment, especially the properties in which they live.  Besides, it has been observed the importance of technical assistance available to the farmers, who even without an economic focus, still guarantee good standard of living to the families. The results obtained in this study show the need of more structure and sustainable policies, which could bring more opportunities and alternatives for survival to the most decapitalized population, given the role of this segment not only for the economy but for the maintaining of the culture of food production through family farming in the southwest mesoregion of the state of Parana

    <summary type="text">Title: Gestão das relações interpessoais, person-environment fit e turnover: um estudo nas “Melhores Empresas para Trabalhar” de 2017

Abstract: This study examines whether Fit Person-Environment Fit (PE FIT) mediates the relationship between Interpersonal Relationship Management Practices and Employee Turnover in the “Best Companies to Work For” in Brazil in 2017. It is classified as quantitative and descriptive by data survey or cross-sectional survey. The population and survey sample included 456 companies that participated in the ranking of the “Best Companies to Work For” in Brazil in 2017, according to a database collected in 2017 and published in 2018 by Fundação Instituto de Administração (FIA) and Exame Magazine guide. Data from 456 companies were used to analyze Interpersonal Relationship Management Practices and Turnover indexes and the perceptions of the 250.273 employees who answered the questionnaire, consisting of 70 variables, which represents the Quality Indexes in the Workplace (IQTA), taken in this work as PE FIT. The Interpersonal Relations Practices variable was outlined in a staggered manner, giving points for each of the practices declared by company. P-E FIT, after factor analysis, was represented by its four dimensions: Person-Job Fit (P-J FIT), Person-Organization Fit (P-O FIT), Person-Group Fit (P-G FIT) and Person-Supervisor Fit (P-S FIT). Pearson r correlation analysis, linear regression, followed by tests Sobel, Aroian and Goodman were used for effect mediation. Organized the dependent variable, independent and mediators, it was evaluated if the set of Interpersonal Relations Practices affect the Turnover indexes of the researched organizations and this relationship was confirmed (H1), and the higher the incidence of these practices, the lower the indexes of Turnover. It was then found that the existence of Interpersonal Relationship Management practices impacts the P-E FIT on its four dimensions (H2a, H2b, H2c and H2d). However, regarding the effect of mediating the dimensions of the PE-FIT variable between the set of Interpersonal Relations Practices and Turnover indicators, it was identified that only P-O FIT (H3c) can be considered as a mediator, rejecting mediation of the PJ-FIT variables (H3b); P-G FIT (H3d) and P-S FIT (H3a). Limitations and suggestions for future work are presented at the end of this study.
