Abstract: This research was developed during the Master's program in the Stricto
Sensu Postgraduate Program in Education, in the concentration area:
Education, in the research line Culture, Educational Processes and
Teacher Training, at the State University of Western Paraná–
UNIOESTE. The main objective is to evaluate the context of inclusion as
a school phenomenon, in the way it is presented in scientific productions,
developed in stricto sensu courses in Education at State Institutions of
Paraná (IES/PR), in the period from 2015 to 2022. We present a brief
history and the legality of inclusive education, ensuring the right to
education according to laws that treat inclusion as a fundamental right for
all, advocating for everyone based on human rights. We address inclusive
education in Brazil and Paraná,following this line of thought that seeks,
through public policies, to include in basic education those with some
type of special educational needs. This qualitative research employs
bibliographic methodology. We sought frameworks in dissertations and
theses completed from2015 to 2022, in the seven public state Higher
Education Institutions in the State of Paraná that offer stricto sensu
postgraduate courses in education. Of these, five have completed
dissertations and theses: State University of Londrina - UEL, State
University of Maringá - UEM; State University of Ponta Grossa - UEPG;
State University of the Midwest - UNICENTRO; State University of
Western Paraná - UNIOESTE. The results obtained allow usto affirm that
inclusion is the subject of study in higher education institutions in Paraná,
in acontext of discussion and reflection on how this inclusion is being
implemented and how this challenge is being addressed in the educational
environment.

Abstract: This dissertation is part of the research line "Society, Knowledge, and
Education" of the Master's Degree Program in Education at Unioeste,
Francisco Beltrão campus, and was developed with the support of studies
and participation in the Research Group "Representations, Spaces, Times
and Languages in Educational Experiences" - RETLEE. It is the result of
research that addressed the relationships between national curriculum
policy, the State of Paraná, and the municipality of Pato Branco, based on
the curricular reforms initiated with the approval of the National Common
Curricular Base (BNCC), developed in the Curricular Reference of the
State of Paraná (RCP), in the Curriculum of the State of Paraná, and
finally in the Curricular Pedagogical Proposal (PPC) of Pato Branco.
State guiding documents are understood as direct references for the
organization of curricular proposals for municipal education systems in
Paraná and the schools integrated into them. The objective of the research
was to analyze the presence or absence of local content in the PPC of the
municipal network of Pato Branco, specifically in the early years of
Elementary Education in the History curricular component. Thus, the
research aimed to identify how the curricular organization of the PPC in
Pato Branco was carried out, whether there was only a reproduction of
the curricular contents of the state guiding documents or whether there
was an inclusion of local content that could manifest its own relationships
with the social and cultural reality of the municipality. The research also
aimed to discuss the BNCC and RCP-CREP as guiding curricular policies
for states and municipalities, to analyze the existing relationships between
BNCC, RCP-CREP, and the PPC of Pato Branco, to show how these
propositions are made, and to systematize which and how local content
was incorporated into the PPC regarding the early years of the History
curricular component. The qualitative approach to documentary research
consisted of analyzing the documents based on the procedures of Textual
Discursive Analysis (TDA), which underpin the curriculum policies at the
national, state, and municipal level, as well as other complementary
documents such as laws, deliberations, resolutions, and normative
instructions. The theoretical reflections dialogued with contributions
from authors in the areas of school education, educational policy,
curricular policy, curriculum, school knowledge, teaching, among others,
such as representatives of contemporary discussions, which lead to an
understanding of how curricular reforms in Brazil, in recent decades, have
played a significant role in centralizing, standardizing, and controlling the
educational process. The dissertation expressed concern about the
inclusion or exclusion of local content, as they play an important role in
the History curriculum, in the teaching and education of students. Given
that, the research found the absence of local content, understood as those
included in the PPC of Pato Branco, beyond those established by the
reference curricular documents. The PPC, which aims to guide the
pedagogical and curricular practices of the schools in the municipal
education network of Pato Branco, was limited to providing didactic
guidelines based on the characterization of a new category of organization
of curricular prescription, the "Didactic Propositions", which may result
in the teaching of curricular components that are superficial or
insufficiently in-depth in relation to the social and cultural context of the
students. Thus, the dissertation problematized that the inclusion of local
content in the PPC of Pato Branco would contribute to a more
contextualized and meaningful teaching, suggesting a contribution to the
formation of critical citizens, knowledgeable about the place where they
live.

Abstract: This master's thesis is part of the Society, Knowledge, and Education
Research Line of the Postgraduate Program in Education (PPGE) of the
State University of Western Paraná (Unioeste), Francisco Beltrão campus
- PR. The main objective was to analyze the relationship between youth,
school, and work, considering the school experiences of young people in
evening secondary school in the municipality of Realeza -PR. To this end,
the methodological approach adopted was Historical and Dialectical
Materialism, and the research was carried out using a qualitative
approach, with semi-structured interviews applied to 24 third-year
evening secondary school students at School Doze de Novembro, in the
municipality in question. The interviews aimed to understand and present
the profile of the young people who attend night school in Realeza - PR,
as well as to analyze their experiences concerning work, school, and
youth. Through the information gathered and the interviews conducted,
we also tried to show how the relationships between these young people
and the school develop, mediated by their work relationships. The
research also explored, albeit briefly, the categories and concepts needed
to understand the aspects that encompass this relationship, such as work,
a category analyzed from Marx's perspective, with contributions from
Harvey (2008) and Antunes (2018), Education and the school context are
also discussed, based on Saviani (1996) and Kuenzer (1989), in addition
to addressing the understanding of youth and the plurality that the concept
encompasses, using the works of Dayrell (2003) and Groppo (2017). A
historical overview of evening education in Brazil and its characteristics
is also presented, based on Oliveira (2011), Romanelli (1986), Aranha
(1996), and other theorists who help to understand the construction of
evening education as it currently stands, permeated by neoliberal
interests. Thus, in addition to drawing up a profile of evening school
students in Realeza - PR, this research has made it possible to understand
how these individuals' lives are crossed by the need to work and to enter
the job market, demonstrating their relationship with the school. In
addition, it was possible to understand the complexity of the reality of
evening school, the multiplicity of experiences that make up this level of
education, broadening the view of the multiple determinants that make up
the whole of this reality, such as the relationship with work and its
implications and nuances for the living conditions of young people in the
working class.

Abstract: This dissertation is linked to the Culture, Educational Processes and
Teacher Training research line, of the Postgraduate Program in Education
in Francisco Beltrão at a master's level (PPGEFB) at the State University
of Western Paraná (UNIOESTE) and to the group of Education, children
and infancy research (GPECI), linked to the same institution mentioned
above. Its theme is the organization of early childhood education in the
Southwest of Paraná State, based on the understanding that the debate on
the implementation of laws that guarantee the right to quality education
for children in this age group is important, current and necessary so that
respect and consolidation of laws in practice will be present in the
municipalities across the country. The research analyzes the organization
of public early childhood education services for children aged zero to five
in the municipalities of the region mentioned, emphasizing how national
and state policies at this stage of education are reflected in the
organization of the municipalities that comprises it. This way, it presents
updated data from this region, regarding organizational, administrative,
pedagogical aspects, as well as management teams and early childhood
education professionals in municipal networks. It seeks to contribute to
the debate on this stage of teaching, and can also serve as a guide for new
research in the area. It is a study with a qualitative and quantitative
approach of an exploratory nature. The set of data analyzed was
composed from an online questionnaire sent to all municipalities of the
region researched, complemented with information extracted from the
“2021 microdata” and “Synopsis - basic education statistics 2022” files
that make up the school census files, available by the MEC through the
official INEP website. As a result, we found a diversity of realities: some
municipalities comply with current laws and regulations, but not all of
them. And we understand there are omissions, contradictions,
weaknesses, and possible mistakes in the municipal education networks
of the municipalities researched in terms of guaranteeing the application
of all public policies for this educational stage
